2011 Manufacturing Industry Skills Awards
The Manufacturing Industry Skills Awards rewards and promotes excellence in training by industry/employers, individuals and registered training organisations.
It also acknowledges those who have made significant contributions to training in the Queensland Manufacturing sector.
The Improve Group Head Office team were pleased to amongst the approximately 150 guests at the second annual awards dinner held recently at Manufacturing Skills Queensland's Eight Mile Plans conference centre.
Although Improve Group didn't win this year, we are all very proud to be one of three finalists in the Registered Training Organisation of the Year category.
Improve Group wishes to extend hearty congratulations to this year's nominees and award winners. Our team would also like to commend MSQ for putting on such a wonderful event to showcase Queensland manufacturing.

The head office team have been doing a brilliant job recently and this has been recognised by being nominated by Manufacturing Skills Queensland as a finalist in the Queensland Manufacturing RTO of the Year Awards.
These awards are being held on the 9th June - we'll keep you posted with the outcomes.

This week Improve Group was awarded a contract by Competenz (a New Zealand based Industry Training Organisation) to develop a series of Recognition for Current Competency documents for use by their industry officers and NZ based Competitive Manufacturing providers (including Improve (NZ) Ltd) - these will be completed in the second week of June.
