MSA41108 - Certificate IV in Competitive Manufacturing
Delivered in the workplace this program is very different from most training programs and focuses on improvement outcomes in the workplace. Using techniques taken from Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Total Productive Maintenance programs the units of competency can be tailored to suit the needs of most manufacturers, process plants, repair, maintenance and fabrication workshops.
Who is this course suitable for?
Certificate IV in Competitive Manufacturing is suitable for those in a leadership or technical support role – maintenance, quality, planning, etc. It is also ideal for "future" leaders in a manufacturing or processing environment or those responsible for implementing "Lean Manufacturing", "Six Sigma" or "TPM" initiatives. The qualification requires the completion of ten units of competency.
Training Delivery
Delivered over a period of 12-15 months the training delivery can be modified to suit your business needs. Examples include block training – 2 days every 6-8 weeks, 1 day per month or ½ day per fortnight. Hours are also flexible to suit shift workers, or high production needs. Online and distance learning options are also available.
Funding Available
Government training subsidies of up to $4,000 per participant are available in Australia (subject to eligibility criteria).
